LIFETIME FIXING PROCESS OF TRANSMISSION FACILITIES

WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE LIFELINE SETTING PROCESS OF THE TRANSMISSION FACILITIES, TO BE CARRIED OUT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE GENERAL ELECTRIC SERVICES LAW, THE NATIONAL ENERGY COMMISSION CALLS ON ALL NATURAL OR LEGAL PERSONS INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING IN SUCH PROCESS , TO REGISTER IN THE REGISTRY OF CITIZEN PARTICIPATION INDICATED.

In accordance with the provisions of the General Electric Services Law and Exempt Resolution No. 382 of 2017 of the National Energy Commission, published in the Official Gazette on July 26, 2017, which “Establishes the necessary standards for the proper implementation of the Registry of Citizen Participation referred to in Article 90 of the General Law of Electric Services “, the National Energy Commission summons the Participants and Users and Interested Institutions to register in the Citizen Participation Registry associated with the Fixation process of Useful Life of the Transmission Installations, applicable to three consecutive tariff periods from the year 2020.

To register in the aforementioned Citizen Participation Registry, Participants must submit the following documentation: a) Name or business name and fancy name, and name of the natural person who will act on behalf of it; b) Simple power of attorney in which the power of attorney granted to the natural person who will participate on behalf of the Participating company is recorded; and c) Email address that will be used for future notifications, communications and / or actions derived from the processes with respect to which the incorporation to the Registry is made.

For their part, Users and interested institutions must accompany the following documentation, according to the nature of the interested party: a) Name or company name and fantasy name, if applicable, and name of the natural person who will act on behalf of it; b) Simple power in which the power granted to the natural person who will participate in representation of the interested user or institution is recorded; c) Simple affidavit stating the interest to participate in the process; and d) Email address that will be used for future notifications, communications and / or actions derived from the processes with respect to which the incorporation to the Registry is made.

The registration process in the aforementioned Registry will begin on January 26 and will run until February 16 of this year, both days inclusive. The inscriptions with the indicated antecedents should be sent to the email box vidautil@cne.cl, indicating in the subject “Registration of Citizen Participation Process of fixing the Useful Life of the Transmission Installations”, within the period indicated above.

Registration in this Register of Citizen Participation will be a necessary condition for interested parties to make observations to the preliminary technical report referred to in Article 104 of the General Electric Services Law, and to present discrepancies before the Panel of Experts, when appropriate and , in general, to intervene in all the instances in which their participation in the process is foreseen, in accordance with the provisions of the General Law of Electric Services.
