Jos\u00e9 Agust\u00edn Venegas Maluenda<\/strong> was appointed by the President of the Republic, Sebasti\u00e1n Pi\u00f1era, as executive secretary of the National Energy Commission, from a list of candidates selected through the Public Senior Management System (ADP) of the Civil Service.<\/p>\n Venegas is a civil engineer from the Pontificia Universidad Cat\u00f3lica de Chile and an MBA from the Adolfo Ib\u00e1\u00f1ez University. He has 30 years of experience in Chilean, Latin American and European Generation, Transmission and Distribution companies, and in the energy, gas and energy interconnections businesses.
